Jab, cross, hook, uppercut! Chantal Wagner can be seen at the CLC Fitness Centre in Olds encouraging class members to get their best workouts in! She is able to do this while also having a full-time job as the morning news anchor at the radio stations: 96.5 CKFM - All Hit Country and Rock 104 in Olds, Alberta.
Originally from Saskatchewan she moved to Olds in November 2013 for the news position at the stations.
Chantal went from kickboxing class participant to instructor after kickboxing for one year with All About You Fitness & Yoga by Jamie-Dee and at the CLC Fitness Centre. She enjoyed the workouts so much she took the leap and decided to take the Fitness Kickboxing Canada certification course which happened to be coming to Olds in June 2017! She also loved the cycle workouts offered at the CLC and then received her AFLCA cycle certification a couple months later in the fall. Chantal also has a resistance training course she's planning to take in the spring.
Chantal has been instructing classes at the CLC Fitness Centre since September 2017. Her classes include, kickboxing, kick-it, and indoor cycle express.
During her time with the CLC, she also has the opportunity to instruct Olds College Broncos teams on their training days with kickboxing and cycle sessions, thanks to their trainers Drew Taddia and Dorothy Keith with TRUE FORM.
Chantal is grateful for all the amazing people in Olds and area, and for the many opportunities!
